Program Theme: The REU in Biology is a Summer Program for undergraduates at two- or four-year colleges seeking to conduct independent research in the biosciences, including cross-disciplinary programs such as chemistry, engineering and mathematics among others.

Research Coordination Networks (RCN)
Program Theme: The Research Coordination Networks program supports the means by which investigators can share information and ideas, coordinate ongoing or planned research activities, foster synthesis and new collaborations, develop community standards, and in other ways advance science and education through communication and sharing of ideas.
