New Solicitation for the Research Coordination Networks in Undergraduate Biology Education (RCN–UBE) program! NSF 18-510

The Research Coordination Networks in Undergraduate Biology Education (RCN-UBE) program, managed by the Division of Biological Infrastructure (DBI), now has its own solicitation 18-510. The new solicitation for RCN-UBE is no longer a track of the previous RCN solicitation and is supported by the collaborative efforts of the Directorate of Biological Sciences (BIO) and the Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR).

The RCN-UBE proposal deadline is January 30, 2018.

Based on the national movement to revolutionize undergraduate learning and teaching in biological sciences, the program is designed to build collaborative networks to improve undergraduate biology education. The program will fund two types of proposals: RCN-UBE, for up to $500,000 and five years, and RCN-UBE Incubator, up to $75,000 for one year.
